— A personal note from our founder.
I’ve been a civil engineer for years; measuring, designing, solving physical problems. But somewhere along the way, I got back to my obsession with digital and graphical structures too. Code started to feel a lot like concrete: you mix logic and creativity, and suddenly there’s something standing that wasn’t there before.
This blog is our way of putting it all on the table. It’s not a marketing piece; it’s a living notebook. Here you’ll find experiments, thoughts, projects, and ideas; everything we learn, break, and rebuild along the way.
We’re teachers at heart. We love explaining things, not to show off, but because it’s beautiful when someone finally “gets it.” We also like to keep things honest,no fake enthusiasm, no pretending. If something excites us, you’ll know. If something doesn’t work, we’ll say it too.
We use a bit of Spanglish, because that’s who we are. Panamá runs through our wiring, but our curiosity travels everywhere. So expect some posts in English, others in Spanish, and maybe a few that mix both, depending on what feels right.
Also, we’re not just writing. We’re showing. We’ll be posting real projects, designs, apps, and prototypes, all things built by us and our collaborators. We believe that showing your process is more powerful than showing a polished portfolio.
Right now, we’re a family business, learning new tools like React, Astro, Docker, n8n, and design systems, all while restarting and rebranding our business. It’s chaotic, yes, but it’s the kind of chaos that builds new things.
And here’s the fun part: everything you see here: this blog, our website, was built entirely from scratch for the fun of creating.
No templates, no ready-made themes. Just the essentials: Tailwind for the look, Astro for the structure, and plenty of late nights solving problems in between.
We’ll be sharing how we built it, piece by piece from the design system to the automations behind it because we believe that sharing what we learn keeps us honest with our clients and helps others along the way.
We’re not experts in everything, but we take our work seriously.
So yeah, welcome to Tembok Blog.
It’s not just a place to read. It’s a place to build ideas with us.
